What a year 2021 was for Electric Vehicles (EVs).
You couldn’t turn on the news without hearing something about EVs.
From the ban on new petrol and diesel cars by 2030, to all new homes and offices requiring EV Chargers by law – it’s not surprising that 1 in 4 new cars sold in December 2021 were fully electric (47% if you include Hybrids). In fact, 70% of people that don’t own an EV currently, plan to buy an EV as their next car.
There’s an elephant in the room however… the UK has nowhere near enough EV Charge Points, not even close. At least TEN TIMES the current number will be needed – and that’s being conservative.
The government is even prepared to incentivise businesses by offering up 80% grant funding towards the cost of workplace EV Chargers (depending on a number of factors).
What’s more, most business owners are unaware that they can actually generate new revenue streams from EV Charging, previously only accessible to big petrochemical companies.
Most business owner are also unaware of the different types of EV Chargers, how they work, what’s involved in installation, how to claim grant funding, how to monetise etc.
That’s why at 12pm on Wednesday 26th January, we’re hosting a webinar which will explore ‘What business owners need to know about EV Chargers in 2022’.
The session will be informative but informal, with plenty of time for questions to ensure that you come away knowing everything that’s worth knowing on EV Charging.
You can register for the webinar here.
See you there!
